Workshop Providers
Facilitators featured on this page work directly with post-primary education settings to deliver engaging training and workshops. Schools can use their Global Passport grant funding to access these supports.
To get the most from facilitator sessions, and to ensure they reflect the WWGS Guiding Principles, educators should use the WWGS Scaffolding Events Guide and the WWGS Ethical Communications Guide.聽These resources also provide strong evidence for your Global Passport application.

Afri
Afri uses workshops with post-primary teachers and students to tackle 鈥榯he four legged stool鈥�: Climate Change, War, Forced Migration and Hunger. Afri supports schools to take informed action for change using the 鈥楽owing the Seeds of Peace鈥� resource in workshops.
AkiDwA
Akidwa promotes equality and justice for migrant women in Ireland, addressing harmful practices like Female Genital Mutilation and Early and Forced Marriages. Through community engagement and partnerships, it raises awareness, provides support, and empowers women to advocate for their rights.
Brigit's Garden, Galway
Brigit鈥檚 Garden hosts a 3-hour Global Goals Challenge where students role-play refugee families and explore issues like food, water, energy, and inequality.聽
Children in Crossfire
Children in Crossfire aim to embed their 鈥楨ducating the Heart鈥� in schools in the North of Ireland. They are committed to a whole school approach in embedding Global Citizenship Education through their framework 鈥楥ompassion Compass鈥� and head heart and hands model.
Ciara Burke
These workshops explore contemporary global issues such as migration, human rights, climate change, gender inequality, using creative, participatory methods. Participants discuss these topics, fostering understanding of our interconnectedness and inspiring action as local and global active citizens.

Development Perspectives
Development Perspectives runs the SDG Challenge Schools, helping schools become Active Global Citizenship hubs. Through workshops and training for students, teachers, and leaders, they explore root causes of global issues and our connection to each other and the natural world.
Eco-Unesco
ECO-UNESCO offers in-school and virtual workshops plus leadership training, empowering students to take action on climate change, sustainability, education access, and ethical consumption.
Financial Justice Ireland
FJI embeds critical financial education in curricula and activities. Through training and collaboration, FJI co-creates classroom resources that help students understand, question, and engage with financial justice, guided by teachers鈥� feedback and needs.

Diversion Green is a social enterprise offering food waste prevention and education through workshops and audits. Its work aligns with SDGs including No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Responsible Consumption, Climate Action, Life Below Water, and Life On Land.
Nadia Moussed
Global Youth Work programmes that promote inclusion, equality, and active global citizenship. Uses participatory methods to engage learners and educators while helping young people explore global justice issues and take informed action in their communities.
Rediscovery Centre
Rediscovery Centre offers a wide variety of hands-on and interactive workshops on a variety of STEM and environmental topics. Our workshops are linked to second-level curriculum subjects, including science, geography, maths, CSPE, ESS and art, craft and design.

Self Help Africa has a team of GCE facilitators available to visit schools to deliver workshops on topics such as: sustainable agriculture, trade justice, gender equality and ethical fashion.

Sonairte Visitor and Eco Centre
Workshops explore local and global sustainability and justice, learning to care for the planet, people, and all species. Sonairte connects schools with asylum seekers and the Traveller community, fostering respect, empathy, and inclusion, while supporting students from these communities to feel valued.
Sustainable Living initiative (Sl铆)
This programme trains TY students on GCE topics through a week-long seminar, preparing them to lead school assemblies. It deepens their understanding of migration and its links to climate justice.
The Centre for Global Education
The Centre for Global Education delivers a Whole School Approach to Global Citizenship Education to teachers and senior leaders in the North of Ireland. They cover key themes such as the causes of poverty, inequality and injustice.

Through their resources, bespoke workshops and GCE programmes (Game Changers and The Right Focus), they support young people on their GCE journey, and encourage participation and action.
